Earlier, Akkineni Nagarjuna's flamboyant performances in the roles of Annamayya and Ramadasu were heartily accepted by everyone. However, things are not same all the time and his supposed 'Saibaba' role is triggering speculations.
While many are directly saying that Nagarjuna is a complete misfit for the role, some are going deep inside to catch the mouse. A noted film critic went on comparing King Nag with Jesus. Not with the Christian God Lord Jesus Christ, but with the man who performed Jesus role in critically acclaimed film 'Passion of the Christ'. Jim Caviezel, the Hollywood hero who made audiences wept with his stunning and heart touching performance in that Mel Gibson's flick, is the man to whom Nag is compared to. The critic's point is that, while Jim Caviezel does all those stunts and romances in his flicks, he is a devout catholic and an effective speaker in terms of religious activities in real life. This is completely in contrast with King Nag's life, who is a saint on-screen and a romantic bee behind it. Film lovers and Nag's fans are asking that critic to tell about the things Nag should learn from Jesus (Jim Caviezel). Well that's a tough nut for both the sides, as everyone knows answer but don't want to spill it out!
